Who We Are

 

 

George Grass, Pharm.D. Ph.D. is President of G2 Research, a consulting firm for biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Previously he has been Sr. Vice President of Product Development & CTO for Sorbent Therapeutics Inc., and Vice President of Product Development and Chief Technology Officer of PDxRx, Inc., a specialty pharma company focused in pediatrics.  In addition, he was CTO of Trega biosciences and Founder and CEO of NaviCyte Inc. and Precision Instrument Design, Inc.  He was also a founder and principal of Raptorgraphics, Inc., a computer graphics visualization and simulation company.

George received his Pharm.D. at the University of Nebraska and Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin.  He has over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a scientist, entrepreneur and executive.  His technical focus is primarily in formulation development, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling, simulation and evaluation, and technology development in those domains. 

 

 

 Glen Leesman, Ph.D. is an expert in the development of Physiological Models for predictive ADME, including Physiologically-based (PKPB) Absorption Models and Physiologically based Distribution/Elimination Models.

Glen gained his experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a Senior Research Investigator in charge of the Advanced Delivery Systems  for Bristol-Myers Squibb and as Head of Pharmaceutics for Ribi ImmunoChem.  

Glen entered the field of ADME simulation with  Dr. Gordon Amidon’s start-up company TSRL, Inc. between 1986 and 1992  as Director of Research for the company’s oral drug delivery systems. He joined George Grass at Navicyte where he was Director of Computer Simulations, then moved with George to manage the development of the absorption and distribution/elimination models for iDEA™ and PKexpress™ at Trega and LION bioscience.

Glen received his BS Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy in Chicago, IL in 1970.  In 1975, he received his MS degree in Pharmaceutics from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in Athens, GA.  In 1979 he received his Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutics from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI.
